the written word spells out in sequence what is quick and implicit in the spoken word.

This is an exploration of both found and concrete/visual poetry. It is part of a larger series I am working on to try and interpret Marshall McLuhan's book Understanding Media. While the source text remains the same, it is formatted into an outdated and primarily sound based technology (Morse Code) and further obscured by a slightly shifted and translucent section of identical code. By translating the sentence into Morse Code, the written word transforms into a more obvious sequence yet is no longer quick or implicit when read or spoken.
